Recommendations
So much of my coaching centers around slowing down, thinking differently, and creating a life that feels more intentional. These are some of the books, journals, tools, and resources that have encouraged me along the way. I only recommend things I’ve personally used, loved, or found genuinely helpful. I’ll continue adding new favorites and trusted resources as I discover things that encourage and support this journey.

Small Businesses & Creators I Love
While many of my recommendations can be found on Amazon, I love supporting small businesses and independent creators who are sharing their gifts with the world. As a small business owner myself, I understand the passion, care, and dedication that goes into creating something meaningful. These are a few businesses I personally love and am happy to support:
Prayerful Planner
Prayerful Planner creates beautiful planners and journals designed to help you slow down, reflect, and keep faith at the center of your everyday life. I appreciate the way their resources combine practical planning with intentional reflection, creating space not only for organizing your days but also for focusing on what matters most.
I use their daily and weekly planners each year, as well as their prayer journals, and I love how they encourage me to be more intentional with my time while creating moments for gratitude, prayer, and reflection. If you’re looking for a way to bring more purpose and peace into your planning routine, Prayerful Planner is a wonderful resource to explore. And if you’re into creative journaling and planning, they have a wonderful Facebook group full of ideas and free printable stickers.
Emily Lex Studio
Emily Lex creates beautiful artwork, books, and creative resources that encourage a slower, more intentional way of living. I love how her work reminds us to notice the beauty in ordinary moments and embrace creativity without pressure or perfection.
I have taken her free watercolor class and have loved using her watercolor books, paints, and brushes. Her approach makes creativity feel simple and approachable, even if you don’t consider yourself an artist. It’s a beautiful way to slow down, be present, and enjoy the process of creating.
Trail’s End Bookstore
Trail’s End Bookstore is a whimsical little independent bookstore in Winthrop, WA that was recently purchased by Paola Merrill, the creator behind The Cottage Fairy YouTube channel and Patreon membership. I have followed The Cottage Fairy for years and have always loved Paola’s peaceful, meditative style of storytelling, videos, and audio recordings that encourage slowing down and finding beauty in everyday moments. I’ve ordered books from Trail’s End several times and love supporting her store. I also highly recommend her beautiful book, The Woods and Wisp, which she wrote, illustrated, and narrated — a sweet story that can be enjoyed by both adults and children. Whether you’re looking for a meaningful book or a little inspiration for a slower, more intentional life, Trail’s End is a wonderful place to explore and her YouTube channel is one worthy of binge-watching.
